Meera hurries to Revathi, who faints but subsequently regains consciousness, shocked to hear that Chheda has gripped her. Requesting Meera to save her, Revathi hears Chheda’s frightening voice vowing not to abandon her. Meera tries to console her. Later, Meera discusses the matter with Ayan and Bipin, and together they come to the conclusion that they are safe within the hotel and can preserve Revathi till the next day. Meera decides to stay with Revathi while Ayan and Bipin seek for clues. Ayaan urges Meera not to leave the hotel and safeguard Revathi, to which she complies. As she leaves, a tree branch chases her, which Ayaan snatches, though he ignores Bipin’s inquiry.
That night, when Meera is keeping a watch on Revathi, she accidently falls asleep.
Chheda takes advantage of this and suffocates Revati with a tree branch. Though Revathi tries to inform him, she fails. Meanwhile, Ayaan expresses his disappointment at the limited time they had to save Revati from Bipin and the need to read the letters of her ancestors. When Bipin unintentionally drops the letter box, a concealed box appears, revealing a paper with a sketch of Chheda. Before they can inspect him more, Chheda burns him with his power. Ayaan sings Lord Ganesha’s name, which magically rescues the paper.
Back in the room, Meera wakes up and panics at not seeing Revathi, waking Ayaan, who scolds her for not fulfilling her role. Meera protects herself, but soon they all are terrified to discover Revathi entangled in the branches of the tree. Despite their efforts, nothing works until Meera performs the aarti and administers the holy ash, successfully liberating Revathi. A furious Chheda threatens to kill them.
Meera is shocked when Ayan and Bipin later tell her how Lord Ganesha protected Revathi’s family letter. While reading the letter, they discover Chheda’s intimate connection with Revathi’s family but feel perplexed about how to beat him. Meanwhile, Revathi wakes up, thanking Meera for gifting her the idol. He is surprised when her deceased ancestors materialize, point to a tree, and disappear. Suddenly, the television switches on by itself and shows Chheda terrifying Revathi.
